Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team, based from our Southampton office. This is a permanent, office-based role responsible for managing electrical projects typically valued up to £1 million, though project values may vary.
Projects are delivered across the UK, therefore flexibility to travel when required is essential. A background in healthcare projects would be highly beneficial, although not essential.
Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Southampton to support day-to-day attendance at the office.
Key Responsibilities
Manage electrical projects from pre-construction through to final completion
Plan, coordinate, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget
Oversee project programmes, cost control, and cash flow
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and progress updates
Attend site visits and project meetings as required
Use project management systems effectively (experience with Procore Systems is desirable)
Requirements & Experience
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role
Strong knowledge of electrical installations within commercial environments
Experience delivering projects up to circa £1 million
Background in healthcare projects is advantageous but not essential
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Full UK driving licence preferred
Proficiency with project management software (Procore experience desirable)
