As an Operations Assistant based in Burdens you’ll be responsible for:

• Directly managing a team of 5 yard and warehouse operatives, conducting 1:1s and performance reviews
• Being involved in the recruitment and interview process of new hires
• Picking orders for customers and loading and unloading vehicles ready for delivery
• Ensuring the warehouse is health and safety compliant at all times

This is a full-time, permanent role working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 7.30am
-5.00pm

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or yard environment
• To be comfortable working in the yard in all weather conditions
• To be able to delegate tasks to the team, as well as being a team player and getting stuck in
• To be comfortable heavy lifting
