What you’ll do

You will support fee earners across a broad range of UK private client matters. Your work will help to ensure that matters progress smoothly, deadlines are met, and clients receive a professional and responsive service.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Provide paralegal support across a broad range of private client matters including wills, estate planning, probate and estate administration.
  • Draft routine legal documents and correspondence under supervision.
  • Liaise with clients, families, executors, trustees, financial advisers and other professional contacts.
  • Conduct legal research as required to support matters.
  • Support fee-earners with general administrative and client-facing tasks.
  • Maintain accurate case files and manage documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
What we’re looking for
  • Previous experience as a paralegal is highly desirable but not essential.
  • A proven track record of providing high-quality administration support within a legal/professional services environment.
  • Previous experience in Private Client matters is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong Word, Excel, Case Management, PDF docs and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to deal with highly confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
  • Superb attention to detail and accuracy (verbal, written, and numerical).
  • The desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and friendly team.
  • Located within a commutable distance of Southampton and comfortable with regular office attendance.
