Fullstack Developer

We are working with a well established engineering group seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to strengthen their in house technology capability and support the continued development of operational and customer facing platforms. This role plays a key part in building scalable, secure systems that underpin how the business operates and engages with its customers.

This is a senior, hands on development role with responsibility across both frontend and backend systems.

You will contribute directly to customer portals, APIs and IoT integrations while helping to shape development standards, architecture decisions and ways of working across the wider engineering function.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Design, develop and deploy scalable web applications across frontend and backend environments using modern frameworks and cloud platforms.

Build and enhance customer facing portals including dashboards, mapping functionality, role based access control and IoT integrations.

Develop, maintain and optimise RESTful and Graph

QL APIs to support internal systems and third party services.

Support the adoption and continuous improvement of Dev Ops practices including CI and CD pipelines, monitoring and automated deployments.

Provide technical guidance to junior developers through code reviews, mentoring and day to day collaboration.

Contribute to architectural decisions, technology roadmaps and the ongoing evolution of development best practice.

Work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure software solutions align with operational and commercial requirements.

Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with strong capability across backend development using .NET and C#.

Experience with frontend development using React

JS.

Experience working with cloud platforms, with Azure strongly preferred.

Strong background designing and consuming RESTful and Graph

QL APIs.

Good understanding of data modelling and experience working with SQL, No

SQL or similar database technologies.

Demonstrable experience working with Dev Ops pipelines, CI and CD processes and automated testing.

Solid understanding of secure coding practices, authentication methods such as OAuth2, and role based access control.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex tasks.

Confident communicator able to work effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is desirable.

Exposure to React Native, Terraform or IoT technologies such as MQTT, Modbus TCP IP or Azure IoT Hub would be advantageous.
