The Opportunity

You'll take full ownership of engineering recruitment across the Southampton area, operating with genuine autonomy while being supported by Reed's infrastructure, marketing reach, and leadership team.

This is a market-building role, suited to someone who enjoys shaping a desk, growing long-term client relationships, and leveraging their experience rather than following a prescriptive model.

You won't be stepping into a mass-hiring environment or inheriting an over-engineered desk. Instead, this is an opportunity to establish your presence, define your niche, and build sustainably-supported by clear earning potential and long-term progression.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Full 360 recruitment across the engineering sector within Southampton and surrounding areas

• Developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones

• Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from business development through to offer and placement

• Building and maintaining a high-quality candidate network

• Positioning yourself as a trusted recruitment partner within your market
