Our client is seeking experienced Sessional Counsellors/Therapists to support their student Mental Health & Wellbeing team for a 12-week period. Up to 28 hours per week, with potential for future sessional work.
They are looking for warm, skilled professionals who can work confidently in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.Ideal candidates will be:
- Experienced in Single Session Therapy or short-term work
- Confident working in Higher Education (or with relevant experience)
- BACP (or equivalent) Accredited or eligible
- 3+ years post-qualification experience (250+ hours)
About the role:
- Deliver Single Session Therapy and short-term counselling (up to 6 sessions)
- Work with a diverse student population and varied presenting issues
- Provide sessions on campus, with flexibility for online/phone work
- Support the team with admin tasks, referrals and scheduling
- Attend induction training and maintain case notes within BACP guidelines
