Senior Specialty Fellow - Foot and Ankle Grade: NHS Medical & Dental Senior Specialty Fellow

Duties will include:

  • Supervising the treatment of patients in University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.
  • Carrying out regular ward rounds as appropriate.
  • Participation in clinical audit within the unit.
  • Active involvement in the training and supervision of Junior Medical Staff on ward rounds, in theatre and in clinics, including teaching of medical and nursing students.
  • On-call duties as part of the middle grade on call rota.
  • Take responsibility for improving and complying with infection control practices.

    • This is a provisional job plan and will be mutually agreed with the Clinical Supervisor and the Clinical Director according to the training needs and interests of the Fellow.
