As an Expense Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Group Expenses team. This role focuses on delivering accurate analysis, partnering with colleagues, and contributing to process improvements. You will gain exposure to multiple business units and senior finance stakeholders, developing your skills and preparing for future progression.
Key responsibilities:
* Produce monthly accounts and provide commentary for review by the Business Partner.
* Engage with stakeholders to manage the cost base and support planning and forecasting cycles.
* Deliver high-quality analytical insight to inform decision-making and identify trends.
* Collaborate with Change Management teams to assess impacts and risks of new initiatives.
* Support development and improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, with clear explanations for variances.
* Build strong relationships across Finance and the wider business to share best practice.
* Assist with preparation of information for external audits and compliance requirements.#
**** About You

* You will have:
* Strong working knowledge of Finance processes and governance.
* Experience in analytical roles within Financial Services or similar environments.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, able to present financial information clearly.
* Collaborative mindset and ability to build relationships across teams.
* Proficiency in data visualisation and management reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power
BI).
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an initiative-taking approach.
Desirable:
* Experience working in a matrix organisation.
* Exposure to planning and forecasting cycles.
