A Lloyd’s Managing Agency is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join its growing Compliance function. This is a key role supporting the delivery of a robust compliance and assurance framework across a Lloyd’s syndicate platform.

Reporting into senior Compliance leadership, you will play a central role in underwriting governance, conduct risk, financial crime assurance and regulatory reporting, within a highly regulated Lloyd’s environment.

Key Responsibilities Support the ongoing development and operation of the Compliance Framework and Annual Compliance Plan Lead the delivery of the Underwriting Governance Assurance Plan Support conduct risk and financial crime assurance activity Act as the first point of contact for underwriting governance queries Produce Compliance MI and reporting for senior management and committees Support Product Oversight, Deal Review and Regulatory Reporting forums Assist with complaints oversight, Lloyd’s attestations and regulatory reporting Maintain key compliance logs (breaches, regulatory correspondence, horizon scanning) Support SMCR, Fit & Proper processes and Compliance training activity Ensure policies and procedures remain current and aligned with regulatory expectations About You You will bring strong Compliance or Assurance experience from within the London insurance market , ideally within a Lloyd’s Managing Agency or syndicate environment.

Essential experience: 3 years’ experience in Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit or External Audit within Insurance Good knowledge of Lloyd’s, FCA and PRA regulatory frameworks Experience covering underwriting governance & conduct risk Excellent analytical, organisational and stakeholder management skills
