Financial Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to step into a technically strong, externally facing role with exposure to statutory and regulatory reporting within a dynamic environment.

You'll join a collaborative finance team and work closely with senior stakeholders, auditors, and external advisers, gaining valuable experience across a growing group structure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with statutory financial reporting for individual entities and group consolidation under FRS 102 and IAS
• Support technical accounting projects, including researching accounting treatments and implementing reporting or process changes
• Contribute to year-end close activities, including journals, audit deliverables, and internal audit processes
• Assist with FCA regulatory returns
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
• Act as a key contributor to external audit work streams
• Support ad-hoc finance and reporting projects as required

About You:

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
• Strong academic background with relevant experience in financial services or audit
• Solid understanding of FRS 102 and IAS
• Confident communicator, able to liaise with auditors, advisers, and internal stakeholders
• Naturally inquisitive, detail-oriented, and keen to grow professionally
• Experience of Net Suite is advantageous but not essential
