Location: Flexible (Remote/hybrid)
Salary: Up to 60,000, 4 day week + excellent benefits
Seeking an experienced, senior level local authority finance specialist with a passion for providing insights, technical guidance and training.
Overview:
Working for a leading finance institute, you will provide financial insights to members (local authorities), answer technical queries, and deliver tailored communications and training.
A typical week:
- Engagement with members
- Respond to detailed technical enquiries
- Research, collate & deliver insights, training & events
- Liaise with stakeholders on legislation changes
You'll need the following:
- 3 years senior local authority finance experience
- Knowledge of the Local Authority Accounting Code of Practice
- Experience delivering training/insights
- CIPFA or equivalent qualified (desirable)
