Project Engineer - Mechanical - tech engineering

Our international client, who design and manufacture high spec components and products for use in a variety industries, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their successful team. This is a great opportunity for a driven Engineer to work for a company who are experts in their field. You will take ownership for your work and have real influence.

The Role

You will use your engineering technical ability and project skills to manage a portfolio of projects, overseeing the whole process from product design through to assembly, testing and evaluation. Responsibilities will include:

• Researching solutions to meet customer specifications
• Creating product development project plans
• Liaising with all teams involved with the project to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time to tight deadlines
• Using your technical skills where required to support the design, testing, development and production of the product
• Working to engineering and quality standards
• Data analysis and producing technical reports
• Maintaining regular contact with your customers

The Ideal Candidate

Engineering studies and relevant experience ideally from a mainly mechanical, perhaps also electrical background is required to be successful in this role. You will be motivated and driven and enjoy using your excellent communication skills to deliver projects on time and to the highest standard. Experience of CAD and working with engineering and quality standards will be required. Having high attention to detail and strong influencing and persuading skills in order to drive projects through to completion will be key for this role.
