Overview
CAD Designer Team Leader – Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Designer Team Leader to join a leading Electronic business based in Southampton.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of CAD Designers
- Training and building the team
- Manage and delegate projects to ensure items are designed to industry and company standards
- Provide solutions that meet customer needs
- Translate organisational goals into actionable plans for the team
- Monitor projects and suggest improvements
- Be involved in recruitment and training of new team members
- Assess team performance and implement team goals and objectives
- Undertake company auditing as part of the quality management process
- Proven CAD experience
- People management certification is desirable
- Proven experience leading a team within a manufacturing environment
- Certificate in either Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design or CAD Technology
- Strong problem solving skills and delegating expertise
- Competitive Salary
- Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
