• Take strategic ownership of full product life cycles, from concept through to production and in-service support
• Lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems aligned with certification and regulatory standards
• Oversee prototype builds, testing programmes and data-driven design improvements
• Guide suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost control and on-time delivery
• Produce and approve detailed CAD models, manufacturing drawings and technical documentation

• Qualified and highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with Strong expertise in loads, materials, fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
• Advanced proficiency in 3D/2D CAD (Autodesk Fusion preferred) plus FEA/CFD capability
• Proven track record delivering products into volume manufacture using modern techniques (CNC, additive, moulding, casting)
• Hands-on marine or harsh-environment experience, with an appreciation for consumer-focused design and ergonomics
