Overview
Solent University is seeking an experienced Estates Mechanical Engineer to join our Estates team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the management of the University's mechanical building services and associated team, with specific responsibility for the Building Energy Management System (BEMS). You will oversee maintenance, remedial, and refurbishment works across all mechanical systems-ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, regulations, and codes of practice.
You'll also provide technical expertise and minor design input across domestic water systems, heating systems, and HVAC infrastructure. Your work will directly contribute to creating a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for students, staff, and visitors.
