Attega Group is working with the TS Group as their in-house recruitment provider.

We are currently recruiting for a Group Engineering & Design Manager to join their team.

The main purpose of this Group Engineering & Design Manager role is to lead, coordinate, and continuously improve all engineering and design activities across the TS Group.

In return, is a salary of up to £65,000 P/A, depending on experience.

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead and manage the group’s engineering and design functions across all business units (Tapflo & Sychem)
Define and implement engineering strategies, standards, and best practices for bespoke process skid design.
Act as the technical authority for complex or high-risk engineering decisions.
Support the development of new technologies, modular solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee and be hands on in the end-to-end engineering lifecycle: concept, detailed design, review, fabrication, FAT/SAT, and commissioning.
Ensure designs meet customer specifications and project budgets and schedules are kept to.
Work closely with Project Managers to install and commission projects effectively and mitigate technical risks.
Review and approve key engineering deliverables, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
The ideal candidate:

Will have experience in the design and delivery of bespoke process skids for multiple industries, such as (but not limited to):
o Energy, chemicals, and industrial processing
o Food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals
o Water, wastewater, and environmental systems
o Manufacturing and specialty process applications

Must have proven senior engineering leadership experience within process engineering, skid-mounted systems, or bespoke engineered solutions.
Will need hands on process engineering experience across multi industry.
Must have strong understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering integration (process, mechanical, electrical, controls).
Will require experience managing engineering teams across multiple concurrent projects.
