Site Engineer - Clean Water

Location:

Near Romsey, Southampton area
Rate: £400 per day Umbrella PAYE (negotiable)

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major clean water project based near Romsey, supporting delivery works across the Southampton area.

This role would suit a hands-on Site Engineer with a strong technical background in the water sector, particularly clean water and reservoir schemes, who is comfortable working on site and supporting complex civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and supporting day-to-day site engineering activities
• Working closely with site management to ensure accurate and safe delivery of works
• Overseeing RC frame and concrete works, including quality control checks
• Supporting FRC installation and associated civil works
• Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification and safety standards

Essential Experience & Requirements

• Proven civil site engineering experience (essential)
• Experience with in the water sector, clean water preferred
• Previous involvement in clean water or reservoir projects
• Strong background in RC structures and concrete works, including quality control documentation (Essential)
• Confident and competent in setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment
• Proficient with CAD, Microsoft Excel and general reporting
• CSCS required
• EUSR Clean Water card preferred
• Tier 1 contractor experience desirable
