Site Engineer - Clean Water

Location:

Near Romsey, Southampton area
Rate: £400 per day Umbrella PAYE (negotiable)

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major clean water project based near Romsey, supporting delivery works across the Southampton area.

This role would suit a hands-on Site Engineer with a strong technical background in the water sector, particularly clean water and reservoir schemes, who is comfortable working on site and supporting complex civil works.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and supporting day-to-day site engineering activities
Working closely with site management to ensure accurate and safe delivery of works
Overseeing RC frame and concrete works, including quality control checks
Supporting FRC installation and associated civil works
Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification and safety standards
Essential Experience & Requirements

Proven civil site engineering experience (essential)

Experience with in the water sector, clean water preferred
Previous involvement in clean water or reservoir projects
Strong background in RC structures and concrete works, including quality control documentation (Essential)
Confident and competent in setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment
Proficient with CAD, Microsoft Excel and general reporting
CSCS required
EUSR Clean Water card preferred
Tier 1 contractor experience desirable
