Are you an experienced Senior Process Engineer with a strong background in the design and delivery of bespoke process and fluid handling systems?

TS Group is a specialist engineering business delivering high-quality, innovative turnkey process and fluid handling solutions across regulated manufacturing environments, including food & beverage and similar industries.
This role will involve technical ownership of process engineering projects across the Group, supporting sales activity, engaging directly with clients, and working closely with in-house mechanical, electrical, and controls teams to ensure systems are delivered on time, to specification, and to the highest technical and commercial standards.

Key Responsibilities- Take technical ownership of the successful delivery of process engineering projects, ensuring scope, performance, cost, and programme requirements are met.
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day design activities of process and design engineers across multiple projects.
- Develop turnkey process and fluid handling solutions in collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to define scope, clarify process requirements, and support solution development.
- Provide high-quality technical support to the Sales team, responding to complex queries and supporting accurate, commercially sound quotations.
- Support the pre-contract and proposal stage through system definition, equipment selection, and risk identification.
- Lead and contribute to research and development of new process systems, including concept development, trials, and standardisation.
- Provide technical support to workshop and operations teams during manufacture, assembly, and testing.
- Liaise with external suppliers and subcontractors for equipment selection and procurement support.
- Prepare and review Bills of Materials for quotation and manufacture, ensuring accuracy and cost control.
- Support the preparation and review of CE, UKCA, and UKNI technical documentation.
- Support the production and review of technical documentation including drawings, specifications, manuals, and handover packs.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline (BEng or higher).
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of engineered process systems from concept to handover.
- Strong working knowledge of 3D CAD systems such as Solid Works or Autodesk Inventor.
- Confident producing, reading, and interpreting P& and process documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design activities across multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong technical understanding of process systems, ideally within food & beverage or similarly regulated environments.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify risk and deliver robust engineering solutions.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
