Job Description

Our client is seeking a Groundworks Estimator / Senior Estimator to join their permanent team. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders, cost plans, and budgets for groundworks and civil engineering projects. This is a hands‑on role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Established Groundworks / Civil Engineering firm supporting a number of leading contractors and tier 1 developers across Southern England
• Strong direct labour pool ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard
• Small but dynamic leadership team the Estimator will have direct access to ensuring the right levels of communication and collaboration with the decision making team

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess scope and requirements
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
