Senior Civil Engineer - Water

We are looking for a talented Senior Civil Engineer who wants to work on exciting water projects and make a big impact, to join our team in Brighton.

• Lead the civil engineering design for projects within the water sector across the project lifecycle, including asset planning/strategy, concept design, outline design and detailed design.
• Work across project areas such as clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage.
• Collaborate with project design leads to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes for clients.
• Provide access to Stantec’s expertise to help deliver cutting-edge design.
• Manage or lead civil engineering teams, ensuring quality, safety and timely delivery.

• Experience as a Civil Engineer on projects within water, environment or related infrastructure sectors.
• Chartered or Incorporated member status with a relevant body such as ICE or CIWEM (preferred).
• Passion for the water and environment sector and for supporting developing civil engineers.
• Experience in successful project delivery and working collaboratively with project teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Experience in client-facing roles, leading client engagement and collaboration on a regular basis.
