A large, forward‑thinking Secondary School in Southampton is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This role is perfect for anyone considering a future career in teaching or looking to build on existing classroom experience.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key part in maintaining high‑quality learning across KS3 and KS4.
You will:- Supervise classes during teacher absences
- Deliver pre‑planned lesson materials
- Manage classroom behaviour following school policies
- Create a positive, productive learning environment
- Provide additional support to students, including those with special educational needs
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on teaching experience within a supportive and well‑established school environment.

- SEN experience or confidence supporting additional needs
- Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
