We are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Humanities Teacher who can bring curiosity, confidence, and creativity to young people with additional needs. You'll deliver personalised lessons to individuals or small groups, ensuring that every learner feels supported, understood, and motivated to succeed.
Working in a nurturing environment with a strong multidisciplinary team, you'll help shape an inclusive culture where pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You'll Do- Deliver creative, differentiated Humanities lessons
- Monitor progress and provide clear feedback
- Support Individual Education Plans and personalised learning
- Create a calm, structured and inspiring classroom
- Work closely with support staff and therapists
- Contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives
- Prepare engaging resources and displays
- Ensure all activities prioritise pupil safety
Someone who is:
- Passionate, patient, and resilient
- Confident building trusting relationships with SEND learners
- Skilled in adapting teaching to meet varied needs
- A positive, collaborative team player
- Motivated by helping young people grow and achieve
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Full, valid driving licence
