About the Graduate / Teaching Assistant Position:

Prospero Teaching are seeking enthusiastic graduates who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience before beginning teacher training. These are long-term placements with immediate starts available.

We are recruiting graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in the Southampton and surrounding Hampshire areas, including:

Southampton
Eastleigh
Totton
Romsey
Chandlers Ford
Hedge End
Shirley
Portswood
Bitterne
Woolston
Millbrook
And surrounding areas

This is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates looking to build classroom experience ahead of teacher training.

No prior experience is required; however, any experience working with children or young people including in a classroom setting will be highly beneficial.

You Will Be:

Working 1-5 days per week, term-time only
Supporting students with a range of SEND needs
Working across Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4

Holds a recent degree (ideally 2:2 or above)
Passionate about education with a proactive, can-do attitude
A positive role model for young people
Innovative, engaging and adaptable in their approach to learning
