• Deliver Engaging Lessons:
  Teach across Science disciplines to a range of abilities
• Support Student Progress:
  Monitor learning development and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain Classroom Standards:
  Use effective classroom management and behaviour techniques
• Prepare Teaching Resources:
  Develop high-quality lesson materials and practical activities
• Contribute to Curriculum Planning:
  Support the organisation’s well-resourced five-year programme
• Promote Safeguarding:
  Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Participate in Enrichment:
  Assist with trips, events and wider school activities
• Engage in Professional Development:
  Attend training, CPD sessions and departmental meetings

• Supportive, passionate team: A friendly department of 13 Science teachers across all experience levels and disciplines, always keen to share expertise and resources
• Dedicated support: A Core Progress Assistant works solely within the department to support both staff and students
• Skilled technicians: A team of five dedicated Science Technicians ensures students experience a wide range of engaging, hands-on practical lessons
• Modern facilities: 15 fully equipped laboratories, giving each teacher their own classroom for continuity and ownership
• Diverse teaching:
  Teach across all Science disciplines and a range of year groups and abilities
• Strong academic outcomes: A 3-year KS4 AQA programme offering Separate and Combined Science, with an excellent record of GCSE success
• Comprehensive curriculum: A thoroughly planned and resourced 5-year journey building a coherent and ambitious curriculum

• Qualified Teacher Status or ECT status
• Experience with lesson planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
• A background in supporting student progress across different year groups
• Knowledge of safeguarding and maintaining a safe learning environment
• Experience with classroom management and positive behaviour strategies
• Ability to create effective teaching resources
• Strong communication and organisational skills
