We are looking for an Attendance Officer to join the Attendance Team at Oasis Academy Lord's Hill, reporting to the Attendance Manager. The role focuses on supporting young people and their families to positively engage with the Academy through the implementation of our Attendance Strategy, underpinning our commitment to providing exceptional education and improving life chances for the young people within our communities.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and support the Attendance Strategy for students and families.
  • Work closely with the Attendance Team to monitor attendance patterns and intervene where necessary.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry and record keeping.
  • Collaborate with school staff to promote attendance and address barriers to participation.
Qualifications
  • Excellent general clerical and administrative skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents, and carers.
  • Proof of fluent English and ability to meet the requirements of Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
  • Willingness to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service checks and other relevant employment checks.
