Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic doctors to join our dedicated team in the Children s Emergency Department (CED). In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical care to acutely unwell and injured children as part of the full-shift resident doctor rota (days, mids, twilights, and nights). This post starts in September 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Clerking new patients and reviewing those in the Paediatric Short Stay Unit
  • Participating in ward rounds and clinical meetings
  • Supporting the team in managing critically ill children in resuscitation when required

You will also have full access to the rich and varied teaching programme in Children s ED and the Children s Hospital. You will be allocated an educational supervisor for your time with us. You will have fellowship time within a discussed area of interest.

Salary

Depending on experience £65,048 - £73,992 per annum, based on experience
