Locum Prison GP

Overview

We are inviting applications from experienced Prison Cleared Locum GPs to deliver primary care within a secure healthcare service in Southampton
. This unique position offers the chance to provide vital front-line medical support to patients with diverse health and wellbeing challenges, in a well-structured and collaborative setting. If you're a GP seeking fulfilling locum work that makes a real social impact, this opportunity is ideal.

• Undertake varied primary care clinics across physical and mental health needs
• Liaise closely with nursing, pharmacy, and substance misuse teams
• Engage in MDTs and safeguarding initiatives
• Provide continuity and quality of care to all patients

• GMC Registered GP with full licence to practise
• Prison clearance (mandatory)
• Previous experience in secure, out-of-hours, or community care desirable

• £100 per hour
• 3 days per week
