TURF is the ambitious and creative studio founded by Southampton FC, bringing together a collective of creative thinkers, designers and producers ready to tackle anything from eye-catching activations to integrated conceptual campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Brand & Creative Lead, design colleagues and the wider marketing department to craft visually engaging content across digital, social and traditional media that aligns with brand aesthetics and business goals.
  • Conceptualise, design and prepare visual content for both digital and print materials, including social media graphics, web assets, email templates, posters, matchday programmes, presentations and banners.
  • Maintain creativity and consistency across all mediums while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project requirements.
  • Contribute to high-profile projects such as kit launches, retail and merchandise campaigns, season ticket promotions, and events at St Mary’s Stadium.
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to bring campaigns to life and engage supporters across the club’s touchpoints.
  • Assist in creating mood boards, concept sketches, and mock-ups to help clients visualise designs.
Is this you?
  • You are a skilled designer with at least 3 years of professional experience, passionate about conceptual design and able to contribute fresh ideas within a collaborative team.
  • You have experience in branding and brand design with the ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • You are a creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving, able to incorporate feedback and work flexibly.
Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
  • Previous agency experience.
  • Experience with AI solutions as part of the design process.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with After Effects or Premiere Pro or Figma is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
  • Presentation abilities with experience pitching creative ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
