Overview:

A leading National House builder is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a busy residential development consisting of traditionally built houses and apartment blocks.

Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the site to ensure homes are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional looking to develop their career within a well-established house builder.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the development.

-Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is carried out safely and in line with programme requirements.

-Monitor the quality of workmanship across both houses and apartments.

-Support the management of health and safety on site, ensuring company and legal standards are met.

-Conduct site inspections, snagging, and quality checks.

-Help coordinate deliveries, materials, and site logistics.

-Maintain accurate site records and assist with progress reporting.

-Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth site operations.

Requirements:

-Previous experience in a site management or supervisory role within residential construction.

-Experience working on traditional build housing developments is highly desirable.

-Strong organisational and communication skills.

-A proactive approach with the ability to work well within a team.

Essential

Qualifications:

-SMSTS or SSSTS

-CSCS Card

-First Aid at Work (preferred)
