Permanent About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established commercial fit out contractor delivering high-quality office projects across London. Based from their West End site, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of CAT A, CAT B and office refurbishment projects within a fast-paced fit out environment. This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor from a consultancy background looking to move client-side into delivery, or someone already working for a contractor with strong commercial fit out experience.

Key responsibilities Managing the commercial aspects of commercial fit out projects from pre-construction through to final account Cost planning, budgeting and cost reporting Procurement of subcontractor packages and placing orders Valuing works, managing variations and change control Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts Working closely with Project Managers to ensure commercial control and project profitability Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors Experience required Quantity Surveying experience within the commercial construction sector Ideally from a consultancy background, although candidates from a contractor background will be considered where they have commercial fit out experience Proven experience working on CAT A, CAT B or office refurbishment projects Strong understanding of commercial fit out processes and cost control Skills and attributes Commercially astute with strong analytical skills Confident communicator, able to build relationships with clients and subcontractors Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects Proactive and able to work with a high level of autonomy What is on offer Basic salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience) Competitive package Central London location Opportunity to work on high-quality commercial fit out projects with a reputable contractor If you would like to discuss this role further, please feel free to reach out to Vekshana directly.
