The Role Working closely with Directors and senior leaders, you'll take full ownership of your own projects from day one, advising clients across a diverse range of sectors. Your work will span core building surveying services alongside increasingly critical cladding and fire safety instructions, placing you at the forefront of modern building compliance and risk management. From defect diagnosis and technical due diligence to major refurbishments and fire safety reviews, you'll be trusted to deliver clear advice, practical solutions, and absolute technical confidence.
Responsibilities:
Delivering a full range of building surveying services from instruction through to completion Leading condition surveys, building pathology investigations, and complex defect analysis Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment, fit-out, and repair projects Undertaking cladding assessments, fire safety-related surveys, and remediation advice Advising on building regulations, statutory compliance, and fire safety best practice Producing high-quality technical reports, specifications, schedules of condition, and dilapidation assessments Carrying out pre-acquisition and technical due diligence surveys Mentoring and supporting Assistant and Graduate Surveyors Building strong, trusted client relationships and supporting business development initiatives Requirements: MRICS-qualified Chartered Building Surveyor Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment Strong technical knowledge across building pathology, construction, and contract administration Proven ability to manage multiple projects with confidence and precision Excellent communication, report-writing, and client-facing skills A proactive, commercially aware, and solutions-driven mindset Ambition, leadership potential, and a genuine commitment to professional growth What you can expect from this company :
