Position: Commercial Assistant (Permanent)
Details of the Commercial Assistant role.

We are hiring for a Commercial Assistant for a main contractor based in Southampton. This is an entry level role which is based in the company office in Southampton.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing project costs
Ensure good value for money
Assisting in cost forecasting
Monitoring project finances
Liaising with clients
Understanding the clients needs
Estimating the project costs and time-lines
Preparing tender documents
Managing risks
Contract administration

Job Requirements:

Preferred not essential a valid degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Have a positive can-do attitude.

Good analytical skills and technical proficiency in MS office suite.
