Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Southampton

We’re launching our 2026 Graduate Quantity Surveyor programme at Gleeds, a global consultancy that shapes the future of the built environment. This full‑time role is designed to nurture early‑career talent, providing real project experience, mentorship and backing to achieve chartered status with bodies such as RICS, CIOB and APM.
Responsibilities- Assist Cost Managers with cost planning, procurement, contract management, cost control and project close‑out activities.
- Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, cost‑in‑use studies and tender documentation.
- Support the evaluation and reporting of tender processes.
- Co‑ordinate contract administration, valuations, payments, final accounts and client reporting.
- Contribute to high‑quality service delivery across projects.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confidence using MS Office tools.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and team‑focused.
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Degree or masters (completed or completing by August 2026) in quantity surveying, surveying, construction management, mathematics or physics.
- Background in another field is welcome if you possess a passion for the discipline.
