Are you a nurturing and motivated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for a rewarding short-term role within a warm and supportive early year setting? We are seeking a dedicated practitioner to join a friendly nursery team in Sholing for an 8‑week placement, starting as soon as possible.
This role is ideal for practitioners with strong early years experience who are confident in supporting children s development, building positive relationships, and contributing to a safe, stimulating learning environment.

Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing, play‑based setting where children feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore. The team is committed to providing high-quality early education, promoting independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.
The Role- Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age‑appropriate activities
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment where every child can thrive
- Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families
- Observe and record children s progress in line with EYFS requirements
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and care
- Contribute to the smooth running of the daily routine
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
- Recent experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
