Job Title: Manager in Training / Interim Manager
Location: Southampton
Salary: Dependant on qualifications and experience
Working Hour: Full-time, shift-based including weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins
Hourly Rate: Dependant on experience
Number of Sleeps
Required:
As per rota
Pay Per Sleep: £55 per sleep
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with EBD and Trauma
Qualifications
Required:
Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People or Residential Childcare (or equivalent). Must be willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
Experience in Years
Required:
Minimum 12 months in a Children’s Residential setting

- Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare / CYP
- Willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- Minimum 12 months in a Children’s Residential Home
- Knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations, Quality Standards & Safeguarding
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins
- Level 5 in Leadership & Management
- Relevant degree (e.g. Social Work, Psychology)
- Previous experience managing or supervising teams
- Sports/activity qualification
- 🚫 You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car
- 🚫 You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent)
- 🚫 Your experience is solely within Health Care, NHS, CQC, or Nursery settings
- 🚫 You require sponsorship –

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Children's Home will not be considered.
