Job Description

In our continuous journey of growth and innovation at Carnival UK, we are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bring fresh insights and expertise to our digital technology office (DTO) on a 21‑month fixed‑term contract. This pivotal role will form part of the DTO Digital team and is instrumental in reducing risk in delivery and maximising the return Carnival UK receives from its transformation investments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Business Analysis activity within products and projects, ensuring that outcomes, scope and requirements are captured, reviewed and baselined for large, complex initiatives.
  • Accountably challenge scope and complexity to increase benefits/delivery pace and reduce cost of delivery.
  • Understand and apply appropriate requirements definition and management methods, tools and techniques based on the context of the work (i.e. agile or waterfall).
  • Organise and prioritise requirements using techniques such as user stories, epics, business rules, requirement statements and business processes.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience performing Business Analysis activities (solution requirements and business change) within large, complex portfolios of delivery that include an IT component.
  • Familiarity with industry standard Business Analysis techniques and their application.
  • Experience working within an Agile environment.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Confident communication at a variety of levels.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in complex environments.
