Vehicle Technician – Hedge End
Basic Salary: £27,000 - £29,000, OTE: £50,000, Great Benefits Package
Our client, a busy franchised dealership in Hedge End, requires an experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join their established workshop team. Vehicle Technicians/Mechanics returning to the motor trade are welcome.
Vehicle Technician Responsibilities- Ensure servicing and repairs are carried out to manufacturer standards
- Cambelt, clutch, gearbox, and engine repairs/replacements
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostics
- Mechanic warranty repairs
- Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)
Essential requirements:
- Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
- 2 years post-apprenticeship experience
- Full and clean UK driving licence
Desirable requirements:
- Class 4 MOT licence
- Manufacturer accreditations
- MOT licence (Class 4 and
7)
Basic salary up to £29,000 DOE, plus overtime. On-target earnings: £50,000.
