Please see below for detailed job description of the role. Main duties of the job:
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our small, friendly team within the Rapid Investigation Service (RIS) for Urgent Suspected Cancers. In this role, you will be central to the smooth running of a developing regional service that provides a fast‑track referral route for patients with non‑specific symptoms.
The RIS uses a virtual model to speed up investigations for patients who are often the hardest to diagnose, helping to reduce delays and improve overall patient experience. As part of our dedicated admin and clinical team, you will support this mission by coordinating referrals, managing information, and communicating clearly with patients, Primary Care, and hospital colleagues.
Your strong organisational skills and confident communication—by phone and email—will directly contribute to more efficient pathways, better patient outcomes, and enhanced service delivery.
The Administrator role directly reports to the RIS Pathway Navigator and collaborates with all the team across all disciplines.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalising your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI‑generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
