Financial Accountant

Newly Qualified Accountant – Financial Services / Reporting

Are you a newly qualified accountant with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for someone who can deliver statutory, regulatory, and reporting to the highest standard while working closely with internal teams, auditors, and external partners. The role will be hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

• Prepare financial statements for individual entities and consolidated group companies (
  FRS
  102 & IAS
  ).
• Support technical accounting projects
  , provide recommendations, and implement process/reporting changes.
• Assist with year-end processes
  , audit deliverables, and internal audits.
• Prepare FCA returns and regular facility reporting for financial backers.
• Contribute to external audit work streams
  .
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects as needed.

• Newly qualified accountant with a track record in statutory/regulatory reporting (financial services or audit experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of FRS
  102, IAS, IAS
  39, and IFRS9
  .
• Excellent communication skills to work with colleagues, auditors, and advisers.
• Attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a proactive, enquiring mindset
  .
• Debt securitisation reporting or Netsuite experience is a bonus.
