Accounts Manager (Temp to Perm)

Location:

Mt Pleasant Industrial Estate, Mount Pleasant Road, Southampton, SO14 0SP

Rate: £20.19 – £22.12 per hour (dependent on experience)

Start Date:

ASAP

Hours:

* Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm

* Friday: 8:00am – 1:30pm
   (Some flexibility available)

The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, with an immediate start available. This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong understanding of business accounts and day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Posting purchase and sales invoices using Sage

* Raising sales invoices accurately and in a timely manner

* Completing bank reconciliations

* Maintaining accurate business accounts and financial records

* Supporting general accounts administration and reporting

* Ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial processes

Candidate Requirements

* AAT qualified (essential)

* Previous experience in an accounts role (Accounts Manager or similar)

* Strong understanding of business accounts fundamentals

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

* Experience using Sage accounting software

* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
