Main Purpose of
The Role:
Processing of export documentation
Minimum Requirements:
At least 3 years experience as export controller in air freight exportsCargo
Wise1 or similar systemsProcessing of AWB's, SAD
500's, and all related export documentationUnderstanding of industry and related job requirements for freight forwarding.Geographical knowledge and familiar with airline routines and capabilitiesStrong organizational & persuasive skillsAbility to liaise effectively with clients, both telephonically and via e-mail.Willingness to work overtime and weekendsDetail orientated and ability to work under pressure.Ability to lead.Own transport requiredAdded advantages:

Wise1 or similar system (will be an advantage).Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities (daily, weekly, monthly) will include, but not be limited to:
Processing / issuing of all export documentation : AWB, SAD, Phytosanitary certificate, PPECB, COO's, etc.Airline bookings as per rate agreementsLiaising with clients via e-mail, and telephonicallyMaintaining of bookings listsDaily tracking of shipmentsUpdating clients on status of shipmentsDaily shipment / warehouse planningLiaising with warehouse i.t.o. deliveries / collectionsDSV – Global transport and logistics
