Drivers Rental

ob Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver to join our team in the rental industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery, collection, and relocation of rental vehicles / equipment, while ensuring excellent service to our customers.

• Safely drive, deliver, and collect rental vehicles / equipment as per schedule.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles / equipment are in good working condition.
• Check fuel, fluid levels, tyres, and report any damage or mechanical issues immediately.
• Ensure all delivery and collection documentation is accurately completed and signed.
• Assist customers with vehicle handovers, explaining basic operation and care.
• Keep vehicles clean, presentable, and refuel as required.
• Adhere to all road traffic laws and company safety protocols.
• Provide professional, friendly service to customers at all times.
• Report delays, accidents, or any incidents promptly to management.
• Assist with moving vehicles / equipment between branches or storage facilities when required.

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Valid drivers licence (Code 8 / Code 10 depending on role).
• PDP (Professional Driving Permit) may be required for certain positions.
• Minimum of 2 years driving experience in a professional capacity.
• Knowledge of local routes and road safety regulations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit to assist with loading / unloading when necessary.
