Customs Entry Clerk

Salary: R14,000 - R16,000 per month

A well-established clearing and forwarding company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customs Entry Clerk to join their team. This role is focused exclusively on customs entries, with a clear growth path into a management position.

• Accurately process and submit customs entries for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with all SARS and customs regulations.
• Utilize Shipshape software to manage and track customs documentation efficiently.
• Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) to determine appropriate duties and taxes.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and customs officials to ensure smooth and timely clearance of shipments.
• Resolve any customs-related queries or discrepancies in documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in customs regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain meticulous records of all customs entries and related documentation.

• Experience:
  
  2-5 years in a customs entry role within the clearing and forwarding industry.
