Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

Safely operate a Code 8 vehicle to transport goods, equipment, or personnel as required.

Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries or pickups.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

Forklift Operations:

Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move goods within warehouses or other designated areas.

Ensure proper handling of fragile or hazardous items during forklift operations.

Perform routine checks on forklift equipment to maintain optimal functionality.

Logistics and Coordination:

Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and other documentation.

Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Assist in inventory management tasks as needed.

General Duties:

Support warehouse operations, including packing, labelling, and organizing stock.

Ensure cleanliness and safety in the vehicle and workplace environments.

Assist with other tasks as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Valid Code 8 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

Certified Forklift License with hands-on experience operating forklifts.

At least 5 - 8 of experience in a similar role

Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes.

Knowledge of road safety regulations and forklift safety protocols.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Physical and Behavioral Attributes:

Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy items when required.

Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
