This role is based in Mokopane, Limpopo.

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure that front end loader is maintained according to set standards.
• Identify any unexpected problems that could require higher level technical support to and advise supervisor.
• Report to Dispatch and/ou Pit Foreman when task complete.
• Accompany Pit Foreman when inspecting completed task.
• Ensure that regular inspections are carried out on the front end loader to ensure operating worthiness.
• Apply recognised work and safety standards when executing tasks.
• Operate front end loader according to task standards.
• Move front end loader according to heavy duty driving regulations.
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on plant.
• Compile an accurate shift report.
• Follow work instructions and orders.
• Ensure proper understanding of the required actions and orders.
• Apply recognised work, driving and safety standards.
• Ensure that tasks are completed to required quality standards.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Report any safety related grievances or issues to the safety rep or Dispatch / Pit Foreman.
• Follow work instructions to set standards and procedures.
• Identify safety related problems to the Dispatch / Pit Foreman.
• Identify actions that could prevent and improve safety and work performance.
• Ensure that any allocated support works together as a team while completing tasks.
• Promote safety awareness by reminding team members to follow work procedures and identifying unsafe work practices.
• Communicate process problems to necessary people.
• Support operational team members if and when they require help.
• Help engineering employees to maintain equipment.
• Conduct effective two-way communications with team members.

This role is at a band 9 Level, reporting to the Load and Haul Foreman.

• Grade 12
• Front End Loader Certificate

IMPORTANT: applications without qualification related attachments will not be considered.

• 1 years’ experience operating Front End Loader
• Medical certificate of fitness
