Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair UD & FAW trucks
- Conduct maintenance and fault-finding to OEM standards
- Complete job cards accurately and timeously
- Perform vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
- Assist with breakdowns when required
- Maintain productivity and meet efficiency targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping standards
- Work collaboratively with the workshop team
- National Senior Certificate
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Test (essential)
- Master Technician or Auto Electrical certification (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience "on the bench" at a franchised dealership
