TLB Operator

This is a full-time on-site role for a TLB (Tractor-Loader-Backhoe) Operator located in Emalahleni. The TLB Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the machine efficiently and safely to perform tasks such as excavation, loading, back filling, and grading. Daily duties include conducting pre-operation inspections of the equipment, ensuring proper safety measures are followed, and reporting any equipment issues or hazards.

The Operator may also assist with general duties on-site when required, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and efficient teamwork on the project site.

• Valid TLB Operator certification/license and a proven track record of safe machine operation
• Clean criminal record
• 8 to 10 years experience in bulk earthworks
• Experience in operating and maintaining TLB machinery, including excavation, loading, and leveling tasks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, site operations, and ability to identify potential hazards on-site.
• Basic mechanical skills to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the TLB.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate tasks with site supervisors and team members.
• Physical fitness and alertness to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery in various worksite conditions.
