Overview
Africa Biomass Company is looking for a Semi-Skilled Diesel/Earth Moving Mechanic to join our dynamic and growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work with heavy-duty machinery in the wood chipping and biomass industry as our footprint continues to expand locally and internationally.
Location: Worcester, Western Cape
Daily travel will be required
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repair on diesel and earth-moving equipment used in wood chipping and biomass operations.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to schedule and execute preventive maintenance.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental policies.
- Report and document work performed and parts used.
- Semi-Skilled in diesel and earth-moving equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work with heavy-duty machinery in a field environment.
- Willingness to travel daily as required.
- Problem-solving mindset and strong mechanical aptitude.
