Artisan Electrician

You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Your tasks will include installing and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures as well as overseeing the testing and calibration of electrical systems. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Team Leaders, Group Leaders and Engineers and other professionals in the field to develop and implement strategies to optimize electrical systems and improve overall efficiency.

Position Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in industrial equipment and systems
• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment.
• Test and calibrate electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to develop and implement improvements to the electrical systems
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when working with electrical systems
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical repairs and maintenance activities
• Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and apprentices

Qualifications

• Education :
  Matric
• Specify: B-tech Industrial
• Specify: 8 years related working experience as an Industrial electrician
• Qualified Electrician – trade test certificate
